“Seoul ‘N Pop” is a magazine that caters specifically to fans of South Korea and their entertainment industry. “Seoul” is a play on words: the original “Seoul”, the capital city of South Korea; the other being “soul” due to the link that’s shared between fans and the country that they hold close to their hearts. “Seoul ‘N Pop” focuses on topics that aren’t normally discussed. We deal with tough topics regarding political, social, and of course, commercial related issues. With a diverse culture that’s spreading around the world like a pandemic, “Seoul ‘N Pop” is the magazine to look out for.

Objective: To rebrand Vitasoy as a “casual” yet healthy drink—along with other various fruit juices—so that it stands out from all the other soy milk and alternative milk brands.
Contains 2 print executions, 2 different TV spots of various lengths, 2 different web executions, and 1 smartphone execution.

Alrighty!! Now that U&I theme has been released for AngelicAilee, it’s time to share more icons. I based it off the pink glowy crown icon you see when the music video of U&I begins, and all items were either shown in the music video itself, or hidden within the photobook that came with the album itself.

For Angelic Ailee: 1st International Forum’s new 2013 Summer Theme. I was in charge of illustrating icons for the navigation bar and the forum thread. We went with the Beach Baby colour scheme, and so for the Navigation icons, I went through the colours in order as I drew out the shells, while in the Forum icons I’d illustrate objects that can be frequently found at beaches and incorporated the colours afterwards.

Logo I designed for Angelic Ailee: 1st International Forum.

Concept: Ailee is an international korean pop singer, and her fans are called “Aileeans” hence the alien in the logo. Relative to Lady Gaga and her “Little Monsters”. The wings and halo are to reference that we’re “angelic” aliens alongside our “angelic” Ailee :D

Process: I started off in Photoshop with this design; Ailee’s favourite colour is pink so that was an obvious choice. Migrated to Illustrator after finalizing the design. Since its official release to the public on Apr. 6th 2013–present, the forum community decided on the name “Hailee” for the little alien, and the logo will be used for both present and future forum projects.

The typeface I chose was Ostrich Sans Rounded for it’s simplistic yet professional look to compliment the playfulness and quirky alien.

Modeling & Animation Final Project: Rock & Republic - ReBrand & ReModel.

That was basically the goal of this project. I took one existing product (Rock and Republic eyeshadow in “Denim” blue) and created two others for a texture series: “Wood” brown and “Moss” green and then rebranded the entire thing(except the eyeshadow itself. The original case is way too pretty and flawlessly perfect to need any “rebranding” in my fangirling humble opinion)
