Concept: Instead of the traditional hats, when you choose to wear the individual moustache, it is hoped that the wearer will “identify and bring into conscious thought certain aspects of issues being considered”. e.g. When you pick up the yellow mustache, try thinking of the good points about your design concept(s)/idea(s).
This project was meant to showcase lateral thinking and is my own variation on Dr. Edward de Bono’s famed “Six Thinking Hats”.
Lateral thinking is solving problems through an indirect and creative approach, using reasoning that is not immediately obvious and involving ideas that may not be obtainable by using only traditional step-by-step logic. The term lateral thinking was coined by Edward de Bono in the book New Think: The Use of Lateral Thinking published in 1967.
